Every day
Daily Fire
One new fire every day, the same for everyone. Fly it as often as you like, keep your best, and share a spoiler-free result.
How it works
- A new fire comes out every day at midnight UTC. Everyone in the world gets the same one: the same starts, the same aircraft and the same twist.
- Try as many times as you like. Your best result for the day is the one that counts.
- Each Daily Fire gives up to three stars, which count toward your pilot rank. The top ranks need Daily Fires.
- When you're done, Copy result gives you a short, spoiler-free summary to paste to friends: stars, houses saved, acres, drops and time.
The twists
Each day's fire has one of these. It changes how you should fight it.
-
Dry Day
Bone-dry fuel: the fire spreads faster than usual.
-
Close to Home
It starts near town. Keep it off the houses.
-
Long Haul
Far from the main lake: find the closest water and keep the loads coming.
-
Spot Fires
Embers on the wind start small new fires downwind. Catch them early.
-
Calm Day
No wind and damp fuel: a good day to go for three stars.
-
Windy Day
A strong, steady wind drives the fire hard downwind.
-
Wind Shift
The wind is forecast to swing around partway through. Plan for the new head.
